Ferguson Fishing Charters is a family tradition.  My dad guided in the Islands for 30 years, earning him the nickname "Muskie" Ferguson.  He retired in 1980.  As a boy, I had the privilege of learning the Islands with my Dad and his parties.  At the age of nineteen I got my captain's license and then started my own charter business in 1966.

Through the years I learned a lot about people, and what they expect of a fishing guide.  Ferguson Fishing Charters is flexible to fit its parties needs.  Some like to fish hard al day.  Or maybe your party would like to fish and tour the islands, or take a short break and go swimming.  We will cater to your preferences.

 

All tackle and bait will be provided or you can bring your own favorite. Your fish are cleaned and packaged before you depart.

Because half of the Islands are in Canadian waters, we suggest that you obtain a 1 day license on full day trips. Send information and we will pick up the licenses for your party.

Arrangements for box lunches can be made, however, we believe that a trip would not be complete without experiencing a traditional shore dinner for $30 per person.  On a private island, we will clean and pan fry your freshly caught fish, along with a fat back and onion sandwich appetizer, tossed salad with Thousand Island dressing, corn on the cob, salt potatoes, and the guide’s famous French toast for dessert served with guides coffee and great conversation!

Group Charters
